About Us

Yeong Lee the brainchild behind Sama Sama Yoga is the co-founder of Samana Yoga & Wellness. It began as a means to supplement herself and the students at Samana Yoga & Wellness with high quality yoga products that is reasonably priced for our local market. At the time, there were no good quality local yoga brands in Malaysia. Many would seek brands abroad which they then have to pay for the difference in exchange rates and incurred shipping fees.

Thus Sama Yoga was born, which means do “Yoga Together”. It is our mission for everyone to be able to do yoga and we know the best way is to do it together!

Our mission and pledge is to uphold your trust in us by ensuring all our products are tested rigorously for its quality while maintaining it at an affordable price point that doesn’t burn your pockets. All our items are carefully selected and curated by serious yogis for yogis to ensure that our high performance products are designed to withstand the test of time, to help improve and enhance your practice.

We constantly work hand in hand with our teachers and partners across Malaysia to get feedback on our products. In doing so, we have been successful in making it a trusted brand amongst teachers and students alike. By partnering with teachers that upholds our philosophy and mission in Sama Yoga, we wish to improve yoga teacher’s livelihoods and reach out to more people to join the yoga movement for inner peace and health.
